The patterns from the standard class are translated to the chair as well as possible. There is no specific video for this series as yet.

This Relaxation Stretching practice works around your body delivering a whole body relaxation, it calms your nervous system and eases tension held by the vagus nerve. The relaxation benefits last for days.
This is a “somatic” practice where the guided practices bring your attention to the sensations within your body. We follow how these sensations ebb and flow with each breath. With deliberate focus we enhance the tightening that occurs with each inhalation and enhance the relaxation that occurs with each exhalation. Mindfulness Stretching is an immersive somatic practice where you are completely distracted from your thoughts and worries by gentle sensations created within your body.
Not only do we calm the tension held within the nervous system, we also get a fantastic, gentle stretch which eases all sorts of aches’n’pains. This is great for arms sore from computer work, frozen shoulders and sciatica to name just a few benefits.
The practice enhances the parasympathetic nervous system and therefore eases the state of the vagus nerve. The enhanced state of the vagus nerve can be shown using Heart Rate Variability measurements.
